Permanent Opportunity – Head of School 2026 & Beyond

Many Rivers seeks a Permanent Head of School to build upon the exceptional foundation, the passion for high-quality Montessori education, and the collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit fostered in the school’s first 11 years.
As the school transitions from a start-up mindset toward long term sustainability, the Board of Trustees is looking for a next Head who can continue to deliver values-driven Montessori excellence while also building systems and structures that will enable the school to thrive for years to come.
As the leader of MRM, the Head pursues the vision and executes the mission and strategic objectives of the school, nurtures the school culture, manages faculty and staff, and ensures the institution’s financial health. In particular, the Board will look to the permanent Head of School to be responsible for:
- Leadership and Management of Staff and Culture
- Instructional Leadership and Educational Compliance
- Communication and Relationship Building
- Financial and Operational Stewardship and Development

On-Call Substitute Teacher/Childcare Assistant
Many Rivers is seeking On-Call Substitute Teachers/Childcare Assistants. Substitutes typically function as assistants to our lead Guides (teachers). Supporting the work of the Guide in maintaining the integrity of the Montessori learning environment is a substitute teacher’s primary responsibility. The need for substitutes is on all levels: Toddlers (16-33 months old), Children’s House (Pre-K/K), Elementary (grades 1-6), & Middle School (grades 7 and 8).
