The financial aid application for the 2025–2026 school year is now open. Priority will be given to applications submitted by March 7th, 2025. Applications received after this deadline will be evaluated on a rolling basis, subject to the availability of remaining funds.
OVERVIEW
Many Rivers Montessori values an economically diverse student body and welcomes the opportunity to provide financial support to families who need assistance to send their children to our school. The criterion for a family receiving a financial aid award is demonstrated financial need. The school expects families to recognize their children’s education as a priority expense and to finance it to the extent that they can.
MRM uses Student School Services (SSS) to process financial aid applications. SSS is the online platform Many Rivers also uses to manage applications and student enrollment. Based on financial information that families provide, SSS provides MRM with an estimated amount that a family can contribute to educational expenses. This information is the basis for the school making fair and equitable financial aid decisions.
The financial aid application link is distinct from the admissions application link. To start the financial aid application process, use this link and use the partner code 200520.
SSS now charges a $60 financial aid application fee. This fee may be credited back to the family by Many Rivers when certain income thresholds are met.
The MRM need-based financial aid program operates with a relatively modest budget. At the Children’s House level, qualifying families may receive financial awards covering up to 55% of the annual tuition. For the Elementary level, the maximum award increases to 70%, while Middle School families may have up to 85% of their demonstrated financial need met. The financial aid program is primarily directed to students entering Kindergarten through eighth grade, though in some instances families with a three- or four-year-old student entering our Children’s House program may be eligible for an award. With the exception of families earning under 175% of the federal poverty rate, MRM awards are not available for students in the Toddler program.
In addition to Many Rivers’ core need-based financial aid program, there are some other options that may be available to families:
- MRM is approved for CCAP (Child Care Assistance Program) and the Northland Foundation Early Learning Scholarships
- At the Children’s House level, larger awards may be available to families who earn less than 175% of the federal poverty rate.
