She finds herself incredibly grateful to be part of such a welcoming environment that continues to allow her to engage in life-long learning. When she is not at work she enjoys staying home with her husband, writing poetry, and cuddling with her two cats.

Naj (she/her) received her BA in Education at the University of Wisconsin Superior. Her goal as a Guide is to create a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment. She believes in fostering independence, curiosity, and a love for learning. Naj received her 0-3 AMI Diploma from the Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies in Mesa, Arizona.  What Naj loves most about guiding toddlers is how determined they are to do things independently in which they develop their confidence and a sense of capability. Naj’s favorite thing to do outside of work is spending time with her husband and son out at their cabin near Pattison Park. Cameron (he/him) came to education by way of a lens. After earning his BA in Journalism and Business from Penn State, he spent years working as a photojournalist, professional sports photographer and cinematographer, and in commercial film production, building a sharp eye for storytelling and a deep appreciation for what it means to truly pay attention. A background in digital marketing rounded out his professional life before something pulled him toward the classroom. That pull led him to a forest school in Atlanta, GA, where teaching found him and he hasn’t looked back since. He followed the call of the North to Duluth with Lake Superior practically at his doorstep, trails in every direction, and a community that genuinely looks out for one another felt like the right fit for someone who believes in living close to the earth. Cameron is honored to be part of the MRM family and loves witnessing children discover their own love for learning,  something he sees as the whole point. Outside of school, you’ll find him digging into permaculture, experimenting in the kitchen, shaking up something interesting at the bar, or simply being present with his partner and two kids. He also has a soft spot for astrology, which he’ll happily talk about if you ask.
